Nomad is a modern, Mediterranean-inspired bar & bistro in Vračar, Belgrade, built on the belief that every dish and drink we make should be original, home-made, and created using only the freshest ingredients
Our small family acquired a love and passion for catering during more than a decade of working for some of the most prestigious restaurants in New York.
The idea of Nomad was born in a magical Soho restaurant with the realisation that the ‘farm to table’ concept would be a great addition to the places to eat in Belgrade. Over the years, we have gained a vast wealth of experience and continued to grow and improve our offerings but they are still centred around authentic food, unforgettable cocktails, a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and great décor.
When you visit Nomad Bar & Bistro, we hope we are able to convey the energy and spirit of New York, along with craft cocktails and Mediterranean inspired cuisine. We want you to experience the ambience of the best bistros in Manhattan, right in the heart of Belgrade.
Excellent customer service and hospitality is key to everything we do, and we want every diner to leave our Bar & Bistro satisfied, with a full stomach and a smile on their face. Ensuring all guests are welcomed in the right way is of utmost importance to us, we want all guests to feel valued and respected and most importantly, at home.
Our executive chef, Nemanja Uzelac, has created a stunning menu inspired by the cuisine of 23 Mediterranean countries. Our menu is regularly updated to include new and seasonal dishes such as Tuscan ribs and homemade goat pasta with smoked barrel, as a homage to Italy, spreads from Greece and Lebanon, croquettes from Spain, and sea bream with couscous salad inspired by Morocco.
The highlights of our menu are our home-made, hand-made sausage with Italian Montasio cheese, the Nomad burger in smoke and our New York style cheesecake.
We source as many ingredients as possible from small, local businesses, allowing us to create the freshest dishes whilst supporting the local community.
We shop daily at the Kalenić market to discover the best fruits and vegetables, spices, meat and fish.
